After two years of pandemic, Cono Group relaunches guided tours for students

April 4, 2022

Starting in April, we welcome groups of students interested in touring the facilities of our processing plant located in Chalacea, Córdoba.

Cono Group has a Pant Visit Program whose purpose is for visitors to learn about our culture and processes through a tour of all the areas and stages of crops from the moment they are processed to the stage in which they are exported.

This program is intended chiefly for suppliers, customers, university students, and Technical High School juniors and seniors. It offers a first approach to our business and an institutional look, emphasizing health and safety as fundamental values of our Company.

After two years of interrupted visits due to Covid19, we received yesterday, with great joy, the first group of students. They were master’s degree in Seed Technology students from the Agricultural Science College of the National University of Córdoba, in charge of the engineer Silvina Fiant.

After the warm welcome, where we handed on the necessary PPE to enter the plant, we projected an institutional video of the Company. The students began the tour in one of the processing lines where most of the vegetables sold by the Company are processed. They also visited the processed products warehouse and the consolidation area where the products ready to be exported are dispatched. The guided tour continued in the processing line dedicated to chia seeds. Finally, the visit ended in the laboratory, where we gave the students samples of our products.
